Employment Announcement - Dental Chairside Assistant


Responsibilities:

1.      Responsible for daily set up and preparation of operatories for dental care.

2.      Must have experience with four handed dentistry to assist dentist with chair side treatment.

3.      Must be familiar with dental procedures and terminology.

4.      Must be familiar with the different types of dental instruments and their usage.

5.      Have working knowledge of modern dental materials.

6.      Must be familiar with various types of dental equipment, and be able to perform routine maintenance.      

7.      Take alginate and study model impressions for night guards, stay plates, dentures and crowns.

8.      Must be able to perform and develop dental radiographs as required for treatment in both parallel and bisecting angle technique.

9.      Ability to operate a panorex x-ray machine.

10.   Complete charting of dental records, and ability to enter exam data into dental computer programs.

11.   Maintain adequate supply of sterilized instruments for patient treatment, and must be able to operate sterilization equipment (autoclave, ultrasonic cleaner, etc.)

12.   Must be familiar with recent OSHA guidelines and standards for dentistry.

13.   Responsible for maintaining the inventory of dental supplies.

14.   Must be punctual and report to work on time, in charge of initial clinic and operatory set up.

15.   Attend all mandated meetings and out of town training seminars.

16.   Maintain a strict level of confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

17.   Show and demonstrate professionalism at all times.

18.   Must adhere to Policies and Procedures of RVIHC.

RPMS Site Manager / Clinical Application Coordinator


BASIC DESCRIPTION:


The site manager/CAC is responsible for the implementation and support of multi-service software packages that automate the capture of clinical encounter information and its subsequent retrieval. Primary emphasis is on the Electronic Health Record [EHR] and implementation and ongoing support of multi-service clinical software applications used for the clinic EHR.  The site manager / CAC is responsible for Coordination with other departments, Health Information Management and computer end users for training, auditing, compliance, and quality assurance.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:


Two years’ experience in training individuals in use of computer applications, training in monitoring and assessing their data entry.Expertise with ICD-9 and ICD-10 and CPT coding system syntax.   ►Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.   ►Expertise in RPMS Applications.      ►Experience with outpatient healthcare clinic front office operations.

►Excellent knowledge of Windows applications.   ►Excellent ability to work effectively to train and oversee computer application users.   ►Excellent ability to maintain consistency in security of PHI and HIM information policies.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Reviews and updates existing RPMS/ EHR training materials. Develops new materials in response to training needs of health programs.

►Schedules training sessions and is responsible for coordination of trainers, logistics of sessions, agendas, training materials, and availability of physical/visual equipment required.   ►Develops RPMS implementation plans and program reviews, to assess readiness of program.   ►Performs onsite reviews and audits using RPMS.   ►Assists clinics/users in review of their data entry systems. 

►Makes recommendations for improvements. Assists clinics in implementing desired changes.

►Fosters linkages among departments for the sharing of information and resources.  

►Runs monthly error reports prior to export of data to Indian Health Service    ►Coordinates with Department Directors to identify data information needs (i.e., state & federal reporting requirements, quality assurance, and health monitoring).   

 ►Establishes effective interpersonal relationships with all levels of clinic personnel.  

►Assist in generating reports to meet these data collection needs. Provide consulting and assistance on all issues related to RPMS.

►Promotes an awareness of the importance of data validity, data security and complies with all relevant Privacy Acts, HIPAA rules, and computer related policies and procedures.     ►Assists with and Reviews audits with Case Managers.

►Coordinates with IT staff and other application coordinators to implement integrated packages, resolve conflicts, provide secondary support on related software modules and insure smooth operations in areas where package scope overlaps or is integrated with other services’ functions.

YUKI TRAILS HUMAN SERVICE DIRECTOR


BASIC DESCRIPTION:

The employee serves as the Director of Behavioral Health Services of the Round Valley Indian Health Center’s Substance Abuse/Mental Health Program, is responsible for the administration, guidance and supervision of all program staff, and for directing Social Services advocacy, and Mental Health assistance to the Indian Community of Round Valley.  Develops plans, Policies & Procedures for all activities within the Human Services Department.  Responsible for timely preparation of funding applications pertaining specifically to the Human Services Department, must ensure all application approval process’ are followed.  Attendance is required at selected evening/weekend meetings and other program related functions.  Facts or conditions considered include the following case development methods to be used in assisting clients, community workers most appropriate for the case and which agency outside of RVIHC can best serve the client needs.  Tribal work within the IHS, YRTC Network of Care for youth.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferable degree: LCSW or PhD. Must comply with all RVIHC Policies and Procedures

Must comply with HIPAA laws and regulations Possession of a valid California driver’s license.

Preferred computer Knowledge: Microsoft Office, RPMS, Internet Research.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to present self in a professional and tactful manner, especially in stressful situations.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides individual, couples, family and group therapy.       Provides play therapy for children.

Provides clinical diagnosis using DSM IV. Assigns cases to staff psychotherapist(s). Provides training in mental health skills

Provides weekly case supervision to staff psychotherapist(s).  Provides consultation to tribal, health and social programs..

Provides case consultation to other professionals and para-professionals working for/with Human Services.

Develops and coordinates training for Substance Abuse/Mental Health and RVIHC staff as appropriate.

Provides program development for the Behavioral Health Department in coordination with IHS.

Coordinates with other staff professional and outside sources in program efforts and other initiatives. 

Prepares necessary reports and records on caseloads and services provided as required.

Attends conferences and meetings as required. Prepares necessary reports for funding agencies.

Develops new Position Descriptions and annually previews and updates existing Position Descriptions.

Must attend Community Functions as related to position, i.e., Proposition 36 & 63 meetings.

Other duties as assigned pertaining to administration and/or administrative support, including annual evaluations of all Human Services staff.

To provide outreach services to the schools and community to prevent suicide includes organizing and facilitating support groups for youth; community education and other events as identified in the grant. Salary: $16-$19/hour dependent upon experience; 20 hours per week/5 hrs. Per day. Note: No health benefits available with this position; annual leave and sick leave is accrued and paid holidays.
